Mountaineer Cocktail from The Brass Tag

I’d recommend kicking off a meal at Deer Valley with a new signature cocktail which was created by mixologist and restaurant manager Josh Hockman at Deer Valley’s Brass Tag restaurant: The “Mountaineer.” It’s a delicious blend of Alpine Distillery Traveler’s Rest whiskey, with smoked Vermont maple syrup and Scrappy’s Orleans bitters with hints of clove and anise. This slightly sweet, refreshing cocktail would be welcome alongside The Brass Tag’s brick oven cuisine; and I especially think it would enhance dishes such as Chimichurri Chips from the restaurant’s $5 menu, or perhaps Bison Meatloaf with fresh arugula, crispy onions, espagnole sauce, and Boursin cheese mashed potatoes. The Brass Tag is located at the base of Deer Valley Resort, inside The Lodges.
