Bill White Farm Stand on the Move

Look for the Bill White Farms + Ranches Farm Stand – currently located in Park City on Highway 224 – to move this fall. The Bill White Group has announced that the Farm Stand will be moving to the new and improved Windy Ridge Bakery. The current Farm Stand location will close on Saturday, September 4th. You’ll want to be sure and stock up on seafood, eggs, meat, prepared meals and more before the Farm Stand closure and relocation.

According to Bill White Farms, at the new Windy Ridge Bakery location “Offerings will include our Earthganic products raised here in Summit County, along with our famous fresh baked goods and packaged meals to-go,  all in one convenient location.”

Fall Foodie Friendly Fests @ The Gateway

The Gateway will host a number of fall festivals this September that are well-suited to food and drink lovers. On September 11 from 11 AM to 8 PM, The Hispanic Heritage Parade and Street Festival will take place at The Gateway. “Take Care Utah comes together to celebrate the 6th Annual Parade & Street Festival in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. The event kicks off with a March of Countries Parade, followed by a street festival that will feature Latina/Latino food, drinks, vendors, live music and folkloric dance performers. Take Care Utah aims to raise awareness of the high percentage of uninsured children in Utah and is available as a free resource for health insurance enrollment.”

And then Festa Italiana will be held at The Gateway on September 18 from noon to 10 PM and September 19 from noon to 7 PM. “The 6th annual Italian Festival will be held on historic Rio Grande Street from 100 South to the Olympic Fountain Plaza. The community is invited to explore the culture, entertainment and culinary diversity of Italy. This is a non-profit festival with proceeds supporting charities, including Catholic Community Services.” In my opinion, Festa Italiana is one of the can’t-miss foodie fests every year.

On September 25 from 11 AM to 5 PM The Gateway will be home to the Halfway to St. Patrick’s festival. “Join the Hibernian Society of Utah for a Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day Celebration complete with Irish pipe bands, traditional Irish bands, Irish dance companies, and Irish food and drink.”
