Air Fryer Chicken Tikka Drumsticks

This tikka-style chicken legs recipe is a good fit for air fryer cooking.

|

I recently purchased a new air fryer for our kitchen and have been experimenting with various air fryer recipes. This one for tikka-style air fryer chicken legs is a good one. Feel free to increase the amount of cayenne pepper if you like your legs more fiery.

Ingredients:

½  cup coconut milk

1½ Tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp. garam marsala

1 tsp. ground cumin

1 tsp. turmeric

1 tsp. cardamom

1 tsp. garlic powder

½ tsp. Cayenne pepper

1 Tbsp fresh ginger, grated

1 tsp. salt

4 chicken drumsticks

Method

  1. Combine everything except chicken into a bowl and mix well.
  2. Add the chicken legs to the bowl and toss until the legs are well covered. Allow the chicken to marinate for up to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
  4. Remove the chicken legs from the fridge and place them into the preheated air fryer, uncrowded.
  5. Cook at 350°F for 20 minutes.

Serve with basmati rice and/or warm naan.
