It would be hard to think of two holidays that are more different: St. Patrick’s Day which, in the U.S. at least, is mostly a debauched affair centered around beer, corned beef, and cabbage (not that there’s anything wrong with that), and Easter, which is typically a refined, sober occasion – usually brunch – based, for whatever reason, around colorful eggs and bunnies. This year, both happen to occur in the second half of March. Here are some good options for celebrating St. Paddy’s Day and Easter in our local restaurants and bars.
St. Patrick’s Day

Bewilder Brewing Co. invites guests 21 and over to join them for St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday, March 17th. The brewers say, “We will have 3 new beers on tap (an Irish Stout, our fan favorite Irish Lager, and Leprechaun Tears green glitter beer) and we will have your favorite classic Irish food items. It’s going to be busy! If you have parties bigger than 10, please call for a reservation.”
Head over to Feldman’s Deli for the best corned beef in town and enjoy live Irish music from Cronin’s Fancy on Saturday, March 16th at 6:00 pm. There’s corned beef and cabbage for lunch and dinner and our friends at Feldman’s point out that “The Irish and Jews are two great peoples with a love for corned beef and music!”
Lucky 13 is celebrating St. Paddy’s Day for five days: March 13-17. “Join our staff for our annual St. Patrick’s bash. 5 days of food, drinks and bagpipes. Pair our famous Lucky Irishman Burger with a Guinness and Irish Breakfast Shot. Keep an eye out for our St. Paddy’s Merch!”
Here’s a note from the gang at Piper Down, which is always a terrific spot to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. It’s three days of festivities, starting on Friday. “Our second of three days of St. Patrick’s Day festivities is a super good one. Starting at 11:30 a.m. with the Heathen Highlanders playing their traditional bagpipe and drum set for the first of several times throughout the day. Live Celtic/Irish/drinking music starts at noon and goes up to last call. at noon – the Red Headed Step Twins, 2:30 – Reel Folk, 5:00 – Finch & the Magpies, 8:00 – Murphy & the Giant! We’ll have a delicious Irish food and drink menu going all day too! Spend the weekend with us for the coolest St. Pat’s party in town!”
La Caille will host a special St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Friday, March 15th, starting at 7:00 pm. “Step into the Grand Atrium and be transported to a Celtic wonderland this St. Patrick’s weekend! Join us for a captivating Celtic concert with Callanish, amidst the opulent surroundings of our magnificent venue. Dance, drink, and enjoy the music! Entry is free, food & beverage available for purchase.”
Flanagan’s on Main in Park City invites guests to “Come celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day with us! Live music starts at 2 pm and goes until closing; DJ till 1 am in the downstairs tavern. The restaurant will be open from 11 am until midnight. Lots of swag, giveaways, and raffles throughout the day! No reservations for St Patrick’s Day, first come, first serve.”
Enjoy two days of St. Patrick’s Day festivities at Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club in The Gateway. To kickoff the St. Patrick’s Day celebration, Flanker will open its doors early for brunch at 11 am on Friday, March 15th. Guests will enjoy authentic Irish fare like Corned Beef & Cabbage, Shepherd’s Pie, and Bread Pudding. Festive drink specials will include Green Beer, Guinness Drafts, Jameson Shots, and The Irish (Guinness and Jameson Shot). Live music will be performed by Finch and Magpies Irish Folk Band, followed by Backyard Revival Band.The Hibernian Society after-party will follow with festivities downstairs. The St. Patrick’s Day bash continues on Sunday, March 17th with brunch, drink specials, an Irish-inspired menu along with the return of live music by Finch and Magpies Irish Folk Band.

The Coffee Shop at Little America Hotel will be featuring a special St. Patrick’s Day menu this year, available from March 15-17. The St. Paddy’s Day menu at The Coffee Shop features traditional Irish fare with highlights such as Corned Beef and Cabbage with red jacket potatoes, and horseradish sauce, served with soda bread; Irish Stew with carrots, parsnips, leeks and potatoes in a savory broth, served with soda bread; Shepherd’s Pie with ground lamb, potatoes and steamed vegetables; Grasshopper Pie with chocolate sauce; and Leprechaun Chocolate Mousse.
Get ready to paint the town green this St. Patrick’s Day at Boomerang’s Down Under Bar. The folks at Boomerang’s said, “Join us for a festive brunch on St. Patrick’s Day from 11 to 4, followed by an electrifying EDM show called Abstract House in our nightclub starting at 8 p.m. Don’t miss out on the fun! Midvale’s Mid City Pub & Grill invites guests to “celebrate St. Patrick’s Day from 10 a.m. on March 16 to 1 a.m. on March 17 with corned beef and cabbage, green beer, Irish whiskey, Guinness on draft!! Giveaways and more! Bagpipers will be popping in throughout the day!”
Up in Ogden, the Funk ‘n Dive Bar sent along this note: “St. Patrick’s Day is finally here, and we have a full day of music, Irish food, drink and entertainment. Starting at noon, March 17th, the Heathen Highlanders will be playing traditional bagpipes and drums to kick off the celebration, and will return throughout the day for performances. Our live music schedule downstairs starts with the Heathen Highlanders at 5, the awesome Finch & the Magpies at 6, and one of the best party bands, or any sort of bands in the state, Folk Hogan at 8:30. $5 cover from 5-7, $10 from 7 on.
Easter Sunday

Easter Brunch at Tuscany restaurant will run from 10 am to 2 pm and features buffet items such as prime rib, roasted lamb, chilled seafood, honey-glazed ham, a gourmet omelet bar, fresh salads, house-made breads and desserts, eggs Benedict or Florentine, and house-made waffles. $95/adults; $45/kids 12 and under.
Fleming’s Steakhouse & Wine Bar is running a couple of Easter specials on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31: a 3-course Easter Weekend Brunch Menu featuring savory selections such as Sliced Tenderloin & Frittata, Sun-Dried Tomato & Spinach Stuffed Pork Chop and Baby Gem Shellfish Louie, staring at $52 per guest. For a more traditional steakhouse pairing, Fleming’s Surf & Turf 3-course is available all weekend long, as well as their regular dinner menu.
Log Haven will host a special Easter Luncheon on Sunday, March 31st from noon to 5 pm with a menu “lovingly curated by Chef Dave Jones.” Menu options include Wild Mushroom soup with creme fraiche; Caesar salad; Grilled American Wagyu Bavette or New York or Filet with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes; Chervil-pressed Bakkafrost Salmon with basmati rice cake and shrimp – English pea salsa; Honey-brined Organic Chicken Breast with ricotta polenta, brown butter roasted squash, smoked almonds, Granny Smith gastrique; Roast Leg of Lamb with pistachio-raisin couscous, roast baby carrots, and sauce Robert; Parmigiano-Reggiano Risotto with English peas and tomato coulis; a dessert selection, wine pairings, and more. $68/adults; $39/children under 12.

Urban Hill will host Easter Brunch on Sunday, March 31 from 10 am to 2 pm with menu items such as spinach salad, smoked salmon, charcuterie, shrimp cocktail, brioche French toast, chickpea crepes, eggs Benedict, buttermilk pancakes, roasted tomato quiche, pastries, confections, and more. $75/adult; $30 kids 5-12.
Easter brunch at the Grand America is sold out, but Little America will host a lavish Easter brunch buffet from 10 am to 2 pm with hot and cold items including roasted leg of lamb, baked salmon fillet, New York steak au poivre, bouillabaisse, honey-glazed ham, prime rib of beef, and array of salads, charcuterie, a seafood station, and more, including kid-friendly foods. $79/adults; $35/kids 5-12, children 4 and under eat free.
The Salt Republic at Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City will offer guests a robust Easter brunch buffet on March 31 from 9 am to 2 pm featuring everything from King Crab Legs to Suckling Pig and Smoked Salt Ribeye. The menu truly offers something for everyone, including Wagyu Reuben bites, smoked salmon tartlets and more classic breakfast choices like Meyer Lemon Crepes and bread pudding. The kid’s menu features a selection of chicken tenders and house-made macaroni and cheese. Tickets (available on TOCK) start at $75 per adult and $37.50 for children 12 and under. Children 6 and under eat free.
In Park City, Hearth and Hill will offer an Easter Brunch buffet. They said, “On March 31st, adults are welcome to pick their favorites from a curated spread including coriander crusted trout with creamy coconut sauce, shrimp cocktail, french toast and a decked out DIY parfait bar. Children can also dig into their own kid-friendly buffet featuring chicken tenders, mac and cheese, and mini beef sliders. Of course, it wouldn’t be Easter without a dedicated sweets table, and the Hearth and Hill team is going all out with coconut passion fruit panna cotta, strawberry lime creme verrine, blood orange coffee cake and an indulgent chocolate decadence tart.” $64/adults; $30/children
The Montage Deer Valley will host an Easter brunch buffet in Apex from 11:30 am to 3 pm, reservations required. $95/adults; $45/kids 12 and under. There’s also an Easter egg hunt for kids: “Come enjoy the excitement with an Easter egg hunt. To their sheer delight, their adventure is elevated with a special visit from the Easter Bunny, who arrives with baskets brimming with chocolate goodies and a sprinkle of enchantment. March 31, 10:00 am at the Vista.”
KITA at Pendry Park City offers guests a “special holiday enhanced breakfast and brunch buffet. Savor seasonal Easter flavors including a carving station with Maple Glazed Ham. Children can enjoy a special Easter treat.” $50/adults; $20 kids 12 & under. 7 am to noon, Easter Sunday.
The Goldener Hirsch Restaurant in Deer Valley sent this Easter invitation: “Celebrate Easter with an exquisite fireside brunch in The Goldener Hirsch Restaurant from 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Executive Chef Senthil has meticulously crafted an alpine-inspired à la carte menu tailored for this special occasion. Visit the mimosa bar and create a bespoke blend from freshly squeezed juices and exquisite champagnes.”
Enjoy a 3-course Easter dinner at the Grub Steak with a choice of house salad, baby romaine Caesar salad, or wild rice & mushroom soup, baked Alaskan halibut with roasted asparagus, and choice of dessert from the homemade dessert tray. $54.75 per person.
The Riverhorse on Main invites guests to “Celebrate Easter Sunday tapas-style, with Easter Tapas Brunch from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. $125 for adults, $75 for kids 12 and under. Reservations available on Resy. Dinner service will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the full, regular menu.”
At Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley, they invite guests to “Indulge in a lavish Easter Brunch from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Enjoy a variety of soups, salads, smoked fish, shellfish, mussels, Snake River Farms ham carving station, omelets, waffles, crepes, and savory entrees of Crab Oscar benedict, grilled lamb T-bones, seared halibut, braised Wagyu short ribs, a special kids’ buffet, and Chef Stevie-Ray’s dessert display. $135 for adults, $45 for kids 5-12.”
Waldorf Astoria Park City invites you to “Delight in an Easter Brunch Buffet with lively action stations of made-to-order omelets, crepes, carved ham, and turkey. Choose from dishes like acai bowls, chia seed parfaits, eggs Benedict, shakshuka, a variety of soups, salads, a seafood display, flat iron steaks, salmon, and a special kids’ buffet. $110 for adults, $55 for children.
