If you and your loved ones would like to dine out this year on Christmas Eve or even Christmas Day, there are plenty of restaurants to visit either for dining in or for takeout dinners. Here are the ones I’m aware of.
Adelaide at Le Meridien SLC will be offering prix-fixe holiday meals this coming Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. “On December 24th and 25th Adelaide will be offering a special prix-fixe holiday menu, from 5:00 – 10:00 pm. To begin the meal, each table will enjoy a Butter Board with rosemary and parmesan focaccia. The first course will include a choice of Foie Gras Pate with apricot mostarda, apple fritter and toasted pecan; or Fig and Frisee salad, with Nueske bacon lardons, chevre, honey and white balsamic vinaigrette and parmesan tuile. The second course will include a choice of Charred Shrimp Bisque with creole essence; or Petite Baked Brie with kataifi dough and lingonberry marmalade. Entrées will include a choice of Cochon Roulade with crispy pork belly, green apple puree, and pomegranate gastrique; Chicken Etouffee featuring poulet rouge, croissant waffle, blistered peppers, and andouille; “Surf and Turf” featuring 10 oz filet of beef and Maine lobster tail, creole hollandaise, and sweet potato “fondant”; or Pecan Crusted Grouper featuring sunchokes, mushroom emulsion, crispy Brussels, and pomegranate seeds. Dessert will be Mississippi Mud Pie featuring chocolate brownie, chocolate pudding, chocolate crust, Chantilly, and candied pecans. Pricing is $95/person, with an additional $45 charge for the filet and lobster.
Arlo is accepting pre-orders for Christmas Dinner to go that serves 4-6 people – just add your own protein. Food will be refrigerated. Reheating instructions will be included.
Pick up: Sunday, Dec. 24th between 1 pm and 2 pm. The cost for the Christmas Dinner meal kit is $225.00 and includes house rolls, wild rice pilaf, winter succotash, chicory salad, sweet potatoes, Christmas cake, Christmas cookies, and cranberry shrub.
Park City’s Courchevel Bistro invites guests to “spend Christmas Eve celebrating the cherished French tradition of Le Réveillon de Noël with a family style meal from 5 – 9 pm. $100/ages 13+; $45/ages 4 – 12. Reservations are available at OpenTable.
Deer Valley Resort invites you to “savor the magic of the season with our holiday menu from Deer Valley Cafe, with succulent braised short ribs, creamy smashed potatoes, and roasted Brussels sprouts. Pair your meal with pies, cookies, and a delectable carrot cake. To place an order, please call us at 435-615-2400 or order online at deervalley.com.”
Emigration Cafe will host a Christmas Eve Brunch Buffet priced at $55/adults; $24/kids 11 & under; $10/kids 5 & under, per person, plus tax & gratuity. Menu items include house salad, baby kale, avocado toast, bacon, sausage, eggs, mac n’ cheese, brioche French toast, brunch potatoes, house pumpkin bread, a carving station with roasted tri tip and roasted turkey, blackened salmon, honey glazed carrots, dessert, pastries, and much more.
Franck’s will offer guests “Christmas Eve” prix fixe dinners on December 23 & 24, priced at $130 per person and served from 3 pm to 8 pm. The menu includes caramelized corn cake, Ballard Farms Pork Shoulder Lasagna with seared Maine scallop, Manhattan Crab Chowder, Bitter Chocolate-Rubbed Dry-Aged Beef Chateaubriand, Candy Cane Cake, and Double Chocolate Crunch & Butternut Squash roasted White Chocolate Cookies.
The Glitretind at Deer Valley’s Stein Eriksen Lodge will offer a special prix-fixe Christmas Eve menu and wine pairing with seatings beginning at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. A children’s menu will also be available. $235/adults; $50/kids 5-12. Limited selections will also be offered at Troll Hallen.
Deer Valley’s Goldener Hirsch Restaurant will offer guests a 3-course prix fixe holiday menu on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day priced at $145 per person.
Grand America will host Christmas Eve and Christmas Day buffets with seatings from 9:30 am to 2 pm, priced at $75/adults; $37.50/kids 4-12 years old, plus tax and 18% gratuity.
Harmons invites you to “Have a festive feast” and let them do the cooking. “Enjoy this holiday season without sacrificing taste or time! Our holiday meals are delicious, convenient, and made fresh in store by our kitchen associates, allowing you to savor the festivities stress-free. Choose from one of our complete holiday meals to wow your guests with the comforting flavors of a home-cooked feast.” Harmon’s holiday feast options include Deluxe Ham, Traditional Ham, Tamale Meal (regular and vegan), Turkey, and Plant-Based Feasts priced from $90 to $230.
Hearth and Hill in Park City is open for brunch and dinner on Christmas Eve and the team has prepared delicious dishes just for the occasion, including a juicy prime rib dinner, a rack of lamb with a sage reduction, and a spicy gingerbread cake, served a la mode with eggnog ice cream.
Park City’s Hill’s Kitchen is offering a Christmas Eve Dinner to take home to serve 8 guests, with pick-up from 11 am to 3 pm on Christmas Eve day. Menu items include Beef Tenderloin with Demi-Glace; Crusted Salmon with Chimichurri; Shrimp Cocktail with Cocktail Sauce; Green Bean Casserole; and Sweet Potato Puree, priced at $345.
La Caille invites guests to “celebrate the magic of Christmas Eve with us at La Caille! Experience an enchanting evening filled with delectable flavors and festive cheer as we present our special Christmas Eve pre-fixe menu.” Xmas Eve dinner at La Caille is $170 per person for dinner with five courses of Chef Billy Sotelo’s choice.
Immerse yourself in the warm and inviting ambiance of our restaurant, adorned with festive decorations and sparkling lights. The crackling fireplace, soft holiday music, and the joyful laughter of fellow guests will create an atmosphere of joy and merriment.
Montage Deer Valley invites kids to “Partake in a delightful morning with Santa over a festive breakfast buffet. Children ages 3-14 will be able to have a magical time decorating their own gingerbread house.” Breakfast with Santa takes place on Sunday, December 17th and Saturday, December 23rd from 8 to 10:30 am. $50 per person (exclusive of tax and service charge) for ages 3 and up. This will include breakfast with Santa and gingerbread house decorating. Children 3 and under are complimentary.
Powder restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria Park City will offer a prix fixe menu on Christmas Day with dishes such as Pan-seared Diver Scallop, Foie Gras Torchon, Duck Leg Confit, Smoked Wagyu Short Rib, Charred Roasted Cauliflower, Poached Pacific Black Cod, Hukambi Chocolate Mousse, Gluten Free Angel Food Cake, White Chocolate Semifreddo, and more.
The folks at Rodizio Brazilian Steakhouse say, “A holiday feast needs three things: good company, good cheer and good food. At Rodizio Grill, we have all three. So, make plans to join our Christmas Eve feast this year! Our expanded holiday menu includes ribeye and salmon alongside our signature sides, salads and rotisserie-grilled meats. Tucanos Brazilian Grill offers 6 easy home meals to choose from: Prime Rib Dinner for 2 ($79.95), Prime Rib Dinner for 4-6 ($129.95), Prime Rib Dinner for 8-10 ($399.95), Turkey Dinner for 2 ($59.95), Turkey Dinner for 4-6 ($149.95), and Turkey Dinner for 8-10 ($259.95).
At Tuscany, Christmas Eve Dinner will be served from 5 pm to 8 pm, priced at $110/adults; $75/kids 12 & under. The menu includes New England Style Lobster Chowder or Beet Salad; main course choices of Braised Veal Osso Bucco, Filet Mignon Stroganoff, or Hazelnut-Crusted Sea Bass. For dessert there’s Gingerbread Cake or White Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake.
Urban Hill will offer Christmas Eve Specials which include Maine Lobster Canelones with black truffle ($28); Roasted Pheasant with foie gras jus, ($58); “Dinner for Two” with 32 oz. “mini” Prime Tomahawk, skillet rolls, and a choice of two sides ($195).
Park City’s Windy Ridge Cafe & Bakery offers holiday meals to go, to be picked up on Sunday, December 24 between 10 am and 4 pm. Menu items include a full holiday ham dinner and sides such as scalloped potatoes, sauteed green beans with sweet peppdew peppers, salad with herb vinaigrette, dinner rolls, and whipped sweet potatoes with candied pecan.
