The folks at Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club in The Gateway invite you to visit Flanker for Pie and Beer Days on July 23rd and July 24th. “We’re doing things a little differently,” says Flanker, “with a selection of fruit flavored beers and beer flavored foods. Holiday weekend specials include beer-battered fish tacos, pretzel bites with Squatters Juicy IPA beer cheese dip, Uinta Lime Pilsner on draft, cherry pie, and Kiitos Orange Creamsicle on draft. 

The 17,500-square-foot Flanker is a restaurant with three bars as well as an entertainment complex that features The Sporting Club for gameday viewing parties and nighttime socializing, private karaoke and sports simulator suites, and the speakeasy-style Parlor cocktail lounge complete with retro bowling lanes and throwback music.

Nelson Cottage Prix Fixe Dinners Return

The Nelson Cottage by High West in Park City has announced the return of their prix fixe dinners for Summer 2022. Each dinner is created by Executive Chef Michael Showers and his talented team and is served with optional whiskey pairings to complement each course, along with an ever-changing wine list available by the glass or bottle and a small selection of beers.

The summer prix fixe dinners at Nelson Cottage are served Wednesday through Sunday with seatings at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The cost is $85 per guest with optional whiskey pairings starting at $50 per guest. Reservations can be made through OpenTable.

Peruvian Food Fest 2022

The Peru Food Fest 2022 will be held in downtown Salt Lake City at 279 South 300 West on Friday, July 29th and Saturday, July 30th from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each day. 

The festival is a celebration of Peruvian cuisine and beverages, including traditional pisco sours. Early bird tickets are available online for $5 by clicking here, or you can purchase tickets for $10 at the door.
