Pintxos & Vino at Casot in Salt Lake’s 15th & 15th Neighborhood

Pintxos and vino event takes place at Casot wine bar in Salt Lake’s 15th & 15th neighborhood on Sunday, May 1st, 2022.

On Sunday, May 1st beginning at 6 p.m. Pago Restaurant Group founder and sommelier, Scott Evans, and Ruth Lewandowsli’s winemaker, Evan Lewandowski, invite you to join them for pintxos and vino at Casot wine bar in the 15th & 15th neighborhood. 

The food (pintxos) and wine (vino) pairings include Ceviche with marinated halibut, citrus, jalapeños, cucumber, fresh herbs and tortilla chips with Lewandowski Mahlon ‘21 ARNEIS, Fox Hill Vineyard; Ensalada Primavera – spring salad of radish, asparagus, cucumber, citrus, and yogurt mousse, paired with Stock Pot ‘20 GRUNER VELTLINER, Russian River; and Tortilla Española – Spanish potato, onion and egg “omelet” with Feints ‘21 DOLCETTO/BARBARA/ARNEIS/NEBBIOLO. The main course will be Pinchos Morunos – Moroccan lamb skewers with marinated cucumbers and yogurt, paired with Boaz ‘20 CARIGNAN/CABERNET/GRENACHE. 

The cost per person (21 and over) is $35 for the wine pairings and $25 for pintxos.
