Utah Chef Returns to the Small Screen
When chefs Bowman Brown and Viet Pham opened Forage restaurant in August of 2009, they permanently changed the dining scene in Utah. They were serious about farm-to-table cuisine, going as far as to forage for many, if not most, of the ingredients used in their kitchen. It was a remarkable restaurant.
After Forage closed Viet Pham created his Pretty Bird Nashville-style chicken restaurants and appeared on numerous televised food shows, including Extreme Chef and Iron Chef America, where he beat Bobby Flay on his own competition cooking show.
Well, I for one can’t get enough Viet. If you feel that way too, you’ll be happy to know that he recently returned to the small screen appearing on TV in Hulu’s Chef vs. Wild as well as Bobby’s Triple Threat, Bobby Flay’s newest cooking show on the Food Network. Look for them online or from your favorite provider. In the meantime, for the best hot chicken in the state, visit your local Pretty Bird.
