Uinta’s New Seasonal Brew: Mango Lime Pilsner

What could be more refreshing on a warm spring or summer day than a cold pilsner beer, you ask? How about Mango Lime Pilsner?

That’s the new, seasonal brew (May to September) from Uinta Brewing Company. According to Uinta brewmaster Tanael Escartin, “We wanted to create a beer that would let the unique combination of the fruits’ natural citrus and sweetness shine, delivering an incredible flavor that gives this beer a refreshing experience. Finding the perfect balance of mango and lime took a few trials and a lot of patience, but we’re very proud of the result.”

Well, mission accomplished, I’d say. Uinta Mango Lime Pilsner is mildly malty with significant hops for a nice, crisp taste. A really great summer sipper. The beer is available now in 12-oz cans and Uinta’s signature Compass bottle. In time for Memorial Day, it will also be sold in cans in a duo 12-pack, paired with Uinta West Coast-style IPA.
