Afterword’s Winter House Reopens
Following a brief closure to winterize the restaurant, Afterword by Tupelo in Heber has reopened its Winter House dining area for the winter season. Tempting dishes from Chef Matt Harris’s inspired current menu include Roasted Spanish Octopus; Butternut Squash “Cacio e Pepe” Pasta; Roasted Duck Breast with rosemary polenta; Fried Green Tomatoes with mint and heirloom tomato jam; Honey-Glazed Pork Belly, and of course, Harris’s sensational dill pickle-brined organic Fried Chicken.
Craft Lake City Holiday Market
The 2021 Craft Lake City Holiday Market is being held this year at The Monarch in Ogden. The Holiday Market is now a 2-day event, running December 3rd and 4th, featuring two days of handmade gifts by dozens of Utah’s top artisans, vendors and craft foodies. Tickets at the door are $7, kids 12 and under get in free. Among the food vendors represented at the Craft Lake City Holiday Market are Argentina’s Best Empanadas, Bohemian Baklava, Brookey Bakes, Cupbop, Kahve Cafe, Lucky Slice Pizza, Mountain Born Creamery, Petra’s Backstubchen, San Diablo Churros, Taisa’s Sweets, The Chocolate Conspiracy, World Best Corndogs, and Z’s Hot Sauce.
Wigs & Brunch at WB’s
The one and only fabulous Sequoia and the team at Ogden’s WB’s Eatery invite you to join them for the return of Wigs & Brunch, this Sunday, December 5th. Here’s the lowdown from the organizers: “Hosted by Sequoia, and featuring Utah’s fiercest queer talent for a fabulous show featuring lip syncs, live singing, comedy, and more! This month’s show features performances from Sequoia, Veronika DaVill, Katie Party of 2, and Mikki Reeve. Tickets are $10 per seat, and must be purchased as whole tables! So snag a table for you and a friend, or for the whole family! Seating is limited, and tickets go fast!! Grab yours now!” Seating begins at 10:30 a.m. and the Wig & Brunch show starts at 11:00.
