F.A.C. at the Goldener Hirsch

Every Friday, beginning on June 25th and continuing through September 3rd, Deer Valley Resort’s Goldener Hirsch invites guests to come up and enjoy the fresh mountain air and celebrate Fridays with their weekly Friday Afternoon Club. 

The Goldener Hirsch and Traeger Grills® have partnered to create a weekly series of culinary experiences paired with Alpine Distillery libations. The F.A.C. events will feature live music from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Meet up at the Goldener Hirsch bridge. 

VIDA Tequila Dinner @ Franck’s

On Monday, June 21st starting at 6:30 p.m., Franck’s restaurant will feature a special VIDA Tequila dinner hosted by VIDA founder/owner Lisa Barlow. 

The first course of the tequila dinner will be ginger butter roasted kampachi with yamakawa corn salad and lobster claw – pho bisque paired with VIDA Blanco, Domaine de Canton, muddled cucumber & fresh ginger, fresh Key lime and soda water. 

Course #2 features pork “prime rib” & slow-cooked pork belly with celery root cream, lemon roasted butterball potato, bacon-blueberry sauce, and wilted local greens. The second course will be paired with VIDA Reposado, creme de violet, Utah lavender simple syrup and Meyer lemon. 

The third tequila dinner course is iced coffee tres leches with sour plums anejo tequila chantilly and candied pecan, which will be paired with VIDA Anejo Manhattan, Water Pocket Amaro, coffee cherry bitters, and luxardo cherry. 

The price for the VIDA Tequila dinner is $90 per person: $45/food and $45/drinks. Phone Franck’s at 801-274-6264 to reserve your spot.

Old Fashioned Fridays & Live Tunes @ Afterword

At Maggie Alvarez and Matt Harris’ Afterword restaurant in Heber, enjoy Old Fashioned Fridays when three different specialty Old Fashioned cocktails will be featured for $10 each. 

In addition, a reminder that Afterword features free live music on the patio every Wednesday and Saturday evening with artists such as Terence Hansen, Dillion Finn, Nate Robinson and others. Patio seating is first come, first serve at Afterword, so you’ll want to get there early.
