Arlo

New Brunch & Indoor Dining @ Arlo

Arlo is an excellent new restaurant in the Marmalade neighborhood that I reviewed recently saying, “Arlo has the vibe and the cuisine to make dinner feel like a culinary getaway of sorts – a peaceful, comfortable place to dine at a time when we can all use a little solace.” Read the full review here.

When I visited Arlo dining was only available on the patio. Now, with cooler weather setting in, and after consulting with a safety engineer, the folks at Arlo say “We now feel confident about allowing folks inside. We know many other businesses have already embraced this, so we hope the transition for our guests will not be too difficult. Safety protocols will be tightened and expanded upon and we ask everyone to respect our efforts and the safety of our staff.” Those who prefer to dine on the covered, heated patio may continue to do so. You can learn more about Arlo’s indoor seating plan, reservation requirements and such on their website.

In addition to indoor dining, Arlo has also added brunch to their roster, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Brunch menu items include empanadas, vegetable hash, pan-fried chicken sandwich, Mexican eggs, French toast and more.

Ogden Restaurant Week

Ogden Restaurant Week

Good news for Ogden restaurant lovers: Ogden Restaurant Week for 2020 will expand to the entire month of November, from November 1st through November 30th. According to the Restaurant Week organizers, “Ogden Restaurant Week will be offering a special Gift Card for this year’s event where the public can purchase a $20.00 Gift Card for $10.00, while supplies last. This Gift Card is possible thanks to a Shop In Utah grant. Gift Cards are available at visitogden.com/restaurantweek.”

The organizers explain further, “Traditionally, Ogden Restaurant Week offered a special restaurant week menu with several different choices. This year, participating restaurants will accept the Shop In Utah Ogden Restaurant Week Gift Card for regular menu items, but patrons will be able to take advantage of the 50% savings and our restaurants will be supported by the Shop IN Utah grant funds.
