New Casual Greek Restaurant Opens in Salt Lake City

Paréa Now Open

Paréa restaurant – the creation of the folks behind Manoli’s on 9th – is now open for business. Paréa is a casual, cozy cafe to sit down or grab a gyro to go, or perhaps take and bake meal kits for home. 

On the menu at Paréa are handstacked gyros, salads, and sides such as crispy potato wedges, homemade pita, olives, and more. Paréa offers three protein options for their from-scratch gyros: brined & handstacked Duroc pork, Greek marinated & grilled Red Bird chicken, or crispy red lentil falafel. Paréa is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm at 320 East 900 South.

This holiday season, the folks at the Grand America Hotel invite guests to experience the charm of tradition with a refined afternoon tea at The Grand America Hotel’s Lobby Lounge.

They said, “Dress in your holiday best and let us delight you with a selection of house-made pastries, savory tea sandwiches, and gourmet teas, paired with an array of exquisite seasonal treats. Whether you’re looking to create cherished memories with loved ones or simply savor a moment of seasonal cheer, our holiday tea is the perfect way to celebrate this magical time of year.” Seatings are from noon to 4:30 pm.  Reservations are required.

On November 23 & 24, Deer Valley’s Creative Academy will offer a Thanksgiving Sides and Salads class. They say, “Spice up your Thanksgiving table with a dash of culinary creativity!
