tupelo Park City at James Beard Platform
Planning to be in New York City near the end of the month? If so, consider indulging in a world-class meal at the James Beard Foundation Platform event space. September 28 will feature a special evening with dinner prepared by Utah Bites supporter Chef Matt Harris, co-owner of tupelo Park City.
The James Beard Foundation has this to say about the evening: “We are thrilled to welcome executive chef Matthew Harris of tupelo Park City for an evening of inspired cuisine. Stemming from his native Southern roots, Harris’s vision for his menu is derived from his world travels and personal experiences with sustainable, artisanal food producers. The night’s meal will be accompanied by master botanical distiller Sara Sergent of Park City’s Alpine Distilling, who will prepare original cocktails and serve a collection of her distillery’s award-winning spirits.”
Tickets for the tupelo Park City Dinner presented by the Park City Area Restaurant Association and menu information can be found here.
If you can’t make it to NYC, consider visiting tupelo Park City where Matt, Maggie and their team will be reviving some crowd-pleasing tupelo Classics to complement their menu this season. Three signature menu items which tupelo is known and acclaimed for will be featured each week, pairing comforting, delectable favorites with the restaurant’s quintessential Southern hospitality.
“We are thrilled to reintroduce a collection of guest favorites from our tupelo Classics menu,” said tupelo Partner Maggie Harris. “Regardless of where our culinary inspiration takes us, we always return to our Southern roots to ground us in what we love to do every day: Highlight locally sourced ingredients and sustainable purveyors to prepare thoughtfully curated recipes.”
Classics rotating through the tupelo menu this season include Rabbit Pappardelle, Shrimp & Grits, Famous Fried Chicken, Deviled Eggs, Sue’s Maine Mussels, Crab Fritters, Spiced Utah Elk Carpaccio, and many more.
