At Bonterra Organic Vineyards in Hopland, California, the team of winemakers is committed to sustainability, biodynamic farming and organic farming. Bonterra vineyards have been organically farmed since 1987 – long before it was de rigueur to be organic. According to the winemaking team, “Instead of spraying our vines with chemicals to ward off pests, our animal ‘partners’ offer fantastic solutions for the natural challenges posed by organic farming. One of the greatest and most important assets in our vineyards is the soil. At Bonterra, we often say, ‘Soil is Everything.’”
Just in time for warm weather picnics, patio sipping, cookouts and camping, Bonterra has released two canned wines that come in 4-packs. And, just in time for Earth Day, keep in mind that these wines come in a recyclable format for a sustainable Happy Hour option.
Bonterra’s Sauvignon Blanc in a can is crisp and made in the New World style, with lots of grapefruit, green pepper and citrus flavors and aromas, along with refreshingly crisp acidity. It’s made, of course, from Certified Organically Grown Grapes.
The other new canned wine from Bonterra Organic Vineyards is a fun, festive Rosé made with grapes from Mendocino County. It is a dry Rosé with a hint of effervescence, and yummy peach, watermelon, and strawberry flavors.
Bonterra cans are 100% recyclable and lightweight, which make them perfect for taking into the outdoors on Earth Day, or any day.
