North Italia’s Holiday Spirits & Prix Fixe Lunch

North Italia is lifting holiday *spirits* this season with a variety of special menus and promotions from now through the end of the year. For a limited-time, guests at North Italia Riverton can enter Bar North Pole to enjoy a festive drink menu of eight new creations, including six cocktails and two zero-proof options. 

“Naughty List” Cocktails include: Sweater Weather with Pinot Grigio; Jingle Bell Rock with Aperol; Sleigh Ride with vodka; Santa’s Nightcap with rye; Rudolph’s Replacement with tequila; The Naughty List with vodka. 

“Nice List” Zero-Proofs are: White Elephant Gift with Seedlip non-alcoholic and Cocoa Claus with rich dark chocolate crème.

In addition, at all North Italia restaurants nationwide, enjoy a Holiday Lunch Prix Fixe where you can order a small plate and entrée duo for just $25. The menu, which is available from open until 4 PM daily for dine-in and online ordering, features standouts from North’s latest seasonal menu like the Sunday Night Lasagna and Arancini along with exclusive dishes like the Chicken Parmigiana Verde, Bruschetta Duo, and Brussels Sprout & Medjool Pizza! 

25 Years of Mazza 

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a quarter century since Ali Sabbah opened Mazza Cafe, serving up Utah’s best Middle Eastern cuisine. But it’s true. I first wrote about Mazza way back in the winter of 2000. It’s been a rocky ride for Ali and his team, including navigating a pandemic, restaurant fire, and more. You know the saying: “Only the strong survive.” 

Despite the challenges, Ali celebrates 25 years of Mazza this month with a 25th anniversary birthday bash. Ali said, “Come celebrate with us at Commercial Club SLC for Mazza’s 25th Birthday Bash!
