Eat Drink SLC Returns
Eat Drink SLC returns for its 10th annual food and drink soiree at Tracy Aviary over two evenings, Wednesday and Thursday, September 11th and 12th, 2024.
According to the organizers, “Eat Drink SLC raises awareness about Salt Lake’s finest culinary and cultural opportunities. Our vision is to engage patrons with the marriage of food and drink, and share stories about how it evolves, adapts, and innovates. Filled with tastes, art, people, and joy, Eat Drink is a welcoming, inclusive event for all the senses.”
“Eat Drink SLC is hosted by a nonprofit partnership between Tracy Aviary and SB Dance. These two organizations represent, respectively, a place and an arts-maker that contribute to the unique character of our community. 50% of net proceeds is split to support these two organizations. 50% of proceeds is contributed to a third local nonprofit that works with underserved communities. This community beneficiary has included Women of the World, Neighborhood House, and Race Swami.”
“The 2024 beneficiary is New Roots SLC. An important program of the International Rescue Committee in Salt Lake City, which enables refugees and New Americans in Salt Lake County to celebrate their heritage and nourish themselves and their neighbors by planting strong roots in their new communities. Providing a community garden program to grow their own produce, a youth agriculture leadership program, a farm business program to learn the tools needed to run a farm business successfully, and program-facilitated farmers’ markets and other market opportunities for farmers to more easily access local sales opportunities.”
A bevy of wineries, restaurants, purveyors, distillers and such will be in attendance for this always-fun late summer fling. Tickets are $125 per person (21+ only) and may be purchased at eatdrinkslc.com.

Final Fall Farm Dinner at Blue Sky
On Wednesday, September 18 and Thursday, September 19, The Lodge at Blue Sky will host the final Farm Dinner Series: Harvest Dinner of the season.
The folks at Blue Sky describe the experience like this: “Feel the beauty of our land, the fruit of the labor and the freedom of our vast skies as you explore the majesty of the land. Our final dinner of the season, this dinner allows farmers and guests to sit together and toast the season’s successes. For the farmers, it is a chance to honor the land on which they work, and to highlight the connection between farmer and chef with the art they create with the food we pull from the ground.”
The Harvest Dinners are priced at $155 per person and will include a welcome reception followed by a multi-course tasting menu.
