New Summer Menu at Log Haven

At Log Haven restaurant in Millcreek Canyon, the patio is open and Chef Dave Jones has launched a new summertime menu chock full of enticing dishes.

New on the appetizer menu is Hot Honey Fried Quail with house pickles and chilies, Tabasco ranch, and radicchio. On the entree side of things, there is Dill Pressed Halibut with beluga lentils, petite root vegetables, smoked green olive vinaigrette, cow’s milk Feta, and carrot butter broth; a new Risotto Milanese with roasted mushrooms, red wine mushroom broth, and tomato coulis sounds great. ANd then there is Wasabi-Cured Salmon with shiro miso rice porridge, charred bok choy, black seaweed salad, and Mandarin yakitori sauce; and a new steak dish: Bison Steak Au Poivre with charred Brussels sprouts, candied bacon, duck fat fingerling potatoes, and truffle aioli.

Manoli’s Spit Lamb Dinner

One of my all-time favorite dining experiences is when Manoli Katsavenas fires up the grill at Manoli’s restaurant and hosts his special “lamb on the spit” dinners, which take place all too infrequently in warm weather at Manoli’s.

Manoli and his team will be running their special lamb on the spit dinner on Thursday, May 30, 2024 – a truly unique dining experience, specially curated by Manoli’s. Seating is sold on a first come, first served basis and reservations fill up quickly, so book your spot ASAP.

Deer Valley at Savor the Summit

The folks at Deer Valley Resort invite guests to join them at Park City’s Savor the Summit on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

Here’s the skinny from Deer Valley. “Deer Valley’s renowned culinary team has created a specialty outdoor dinner featuring our legendary eight-foot paella pan for the annual Savor the Summit event on Park City’s Historic Main Street! The large paella pan will be the centerpiece of the event, where guests will enjoy a delicious three-course meal cooked right before their eyes. The pan will be filled with saffron rice and a variety of fresh seafood including lobster, shrimp, conch, clams, crab and mussels. The meal will be accompanied by a selection of Spanish wines from Ronsel do Sil, carefully chosen to complement the flavors of the paella.” To purchase tickets on TOCK, click here
