New Menus at Stoneground and Adelaide, and Zoo Brew at Hogle Zoo

Stoneground Italian Kitchen and Adelaide have both launched new summer dishes and menus. Hogle Zoo is hosting Zoo Brew on May 22nd, and select Wednesday evenings through October.

New Summer Dishes at Stoneground

Owner Bob McCarthy and his team at Stoneground Italian Kitchen have launched a new menu with a number of dishes designed for summer on it. Included in Stoneground’s new menu are clams with leek and fennel mirepoix in a clam & corn cream sauce; caponata pizza; pollo alla cacciatore; spaghetti carbonara; minestrone soup, gnocchi di barbabietola; and panzanella salad. Enjoy those tempting dishes on Stoneground’s gorgeous patio! 

Zoo Brew at Hogle Zoo

On select Wednesday evenings throughout spring, summer and fall – May 22, June 12, July 10, August 7 and October 23 – Hogle Zoo hosts Zoo Brew, an adult-only 21+ event. 

The folks at Hogle Zoo said, “Welcome to the wildest brew adventure – at the zoo!  We’re toasting to wildlife conservation. Sip a drink, savor a bite, experience wildlife connections, and toast to saving animals and wild habitats at our adults-only Zoo Brew events.  Zoo Brews are held on select Wednesdays in the summertime and are the perfect opportunity to visit the zoo without kids. New for 2024: Skip the drink ticket line and purchase a Zoo Brew drink ticket add-on that includes 2 drink tickets redeemed in person at the event. BREWLIGHTS EXCLUSIVE! Adelaide’s New Seasonal Menus

Adelaide restaurant – located in Le Meridien and Element Salt Lake City Downtown – have launched a number of new seasonal menus. The new menus from Executive Chef Jacqueline Siao and her team include a Breakfast menu; a daily Brunch/Lunch menu; a Dinner menu and two Prix-Fixe menu options.

Highlights of the new Breakfast Menu includes specialties like Cider Mill Donuts with cinnamon sugar; Brown Sugar Crumble Banana Bread with Nutella cream; Bayou Biscuits and Gravy with soft scramble, cheddar biscuit, country sausage gravy and crispy potato; Lemon Curd Ricotta Hotcakes with shortbread crumble, toasted pecan, and blueberry; and Crab Louie Eggs Benedict Royal with truffle, champagne hollandaise and crispy potato.

The new Brunch/Lunch Menu features dishes like Lorraine Omelette with cochon bacon, caramelized onion, gruyere cheese, crispy potato and choice of toast; Louisiana Gulf Shrimp Bisque with cornmeal dredge shrimp, creme fraiche and creole essence; Dungeness Crab Cake Croquettes with lemon caper ravigote, arugula and frisee; Fire Kissed Salmon Arugula and Fennel Salad with citrus supreme, granny smith apple, toasted almond, chevre, craisin and white balsamic vinaigrette; and Burgundy Braised Short Rib Grilled Cheese with promontory aged cheddar crusted sourdough, braised short rib, and caramelized onion spread.

The new Dinner Menu includes dishes like Fried Oysters and Caviar with candied bacon and horseradish hollandaise; Jambalaya Fettuccine with Joyce Farms chicken, gulf shrimp, Andouille sausage, mussels, crab, and parmesan; Bone-in Iberico Pork Chop with pork belly cassoulet, Swiss chard, and stone fruit chutney; and Plateaux de Fruit de Mer with Gulf shrimp, oysters in a half shell, crab legs, ravigote, cocktail sauce and pineapple mignonette. 

Finally, there are also two Prix-Fixe Menus – one set at $85 per person and one set at $175 per person. Menu highlights include Creole Spiced BBQ Shrimp with sweet pepper, blistered garlic, Chablis and Chili Flake; Arugula and Fennel with Citrus Supreme, Granny Smith apple, toasted almond, chevre, craisin and white balsamic vinaigrette; Fire Pit Jerk Spiced Salmon with onion confit, corn pudding, parmesan crackle and tomato vinaigrette; and desserts like Banana Cake and Chocolate Mousse.
