Downtown Farmers Market Returns

The Downtown Farmers Market returns to Pioneer Park on Saturday, June 1, 2024 for its 33rd summer. According to the organizers, “The Downtown Farmers Market exists to strengthen and support small local farms and businesses as they bring their products directly to the public. Our farmers and producers offer the freshest local fruits and vegetables as well as a wide variety of grass-fed meats, eggs, dairy, honey, and flora, along with the region’s best locally made sauces, spreads, baked goods and culinary accoutrements.”

The Downtown Farmers Market will operate at Pioneer Park on Saturdays from June 1 through October 19, from 8 am to 2 pm.

Pago at 15

Congratulations to Pago founder/owner Scott Evans and his talented team, who are celebrating Pago’s 15th anniversary this month. Part of that celebration is a pair of special anniversary wine dinners which will be held on May 22 & 23.

Evans says, “To celebrate the past 15 years and kick off the next 15, we spent the past 6 months planning an epic celebration of food and vino. I selected some of my favorite wines in the world and some wines that were my first ‘life changing wines’. I realize the price is a commitment, but I wanted to feature the quality and diversity of wine (and food) options that are worthy of the price tag. Each dinner will have about 30 guests and some family members mixed in as well. I hope you choose to join us for this once in 15 year celebration. I promise it won’t be boring.”

Tickets are available via the Pago website and the Tasting Menu is priced at $125 pp and the Reserve Wine Pairings are $195 pp, plus tax and gratuity.
