Log Haven Releases Exclusive Pipeline Wine

Pipeline Trail is a popular hiking trail in Millcreek Canyon with three trailheads – a 13.3 mile out-and-back trail that runs past Log Haven restaurant. It’s relatively flat and especially well-suited to running, but it’s also a great hiking and biking trail.

Each year Log Haven releases its own signature wine, such as last year’s ode to the tundra swans that have made their home in and around the Log Haven pond, called Swan Song. This year’s Log Haven exclusive wine (available only at the restaurant) is called Log Haven Pipeline 2021, named to honor the Pipeline Trail, and produced by Longoria Wines of Santa Barbara County. Look closely and you’ll see that the wine bottle label has an image of a mountain biker riding the trail, a feature that Log Haven General Manager Ian Campbell is especially proud of.

It’s a scrumptious blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Petit Verdot, 5% Malbec, 4% Merlot, and 4% Cabernet Franc. It would pair very nicely with Chef Dave Jones’ Bison Steak Au Poivre, Seared Elk Striploin, and Porcini Crusted Filet.

Seafood Festival at Tucanos

The popular Seafood Festival is back at Tucanos Brazilian Grill featuring all sorts of seafood at no additional cost with your Churrasco & Unlimited Salad Festival. Included in the Seafood Festival are flounder, grilled tilapia, peel & eat shrimp, sushi rolls, hot seafood dishes, seafood salads, and more.

If you’d prefer to enjoy Tucanos’ Seafood Festival at home, takeout meals are available for $24.95 and include sweet chili tilapia, parmesan flounder, garlic parmesan beef, sweet & spicy chicken, brown sugar-glazed pineapple, 3-cheese mashed potatoes, lobster bisque, chipotle tuna pasta salad, Brazilian cheese bread, and half-price shrimp skewers for an addition $5.
