A return of Yoga & Beer to The Gateway, Porch restaurant breaks out new weekday specials, and Cucina Chef Joey Ferran unveils a new Autumn menu.

Yoga + Brews @ The Gateway

The Gateway’s weekly indoor yoga series is back! According to the good Gateway folks, “Yoga & Beer will be held every Wednesday evening at 6 PM indoors at 110 S. Rio Grande St. Enjoy this free and unique one-hour experience of indoor power flow yoga, with optional beer drinking poses for those 21+. All levels of yogis are welcome. Space is limited so register to reserve your spot.” To register, click here

Do you prefer GOGA, where goats and yoga meet? GOGA will be held every Tuesday evening indoors at The Gateway at 110 S. Rio Grande St. for a unique one hour experience of yoga with goats. First 40 minutes of yoga and 20 minutes of free time to pose with the goats and take pictures.

Porch’s Weekday Specials

Porch restaurant in Daybreak has announced a trio of weekday specials to help lessen your economic burdens. 

Tuesday is Tapas Tuesdays with BOGO small plates; followed by Burger & Wine Wednesday with $10 Porch burgers and $5 glasses of wine. Thursdays feature 3-Course Thursdays when guests can select three courses for $30 per person. In addition, Porch serves brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. 

New Autumn Menu @ Cucina 

Chef Joey Ferran just launched an exciting new autumn menu at Cucina, with a bevy of bold fall flavors to usher in the cooler months.  

The new menu includes temptations such as Smoked Venison Carpaccio; Chicories with grilled peach; Bison Ribeye with wild rice and cherry bread pudding; Oaxaca Chile Pappardelle; Fried Green Tomato with chicken cracklin’; Lion’s Mane Mushroom under a brick; Spirulina Gnocchi with calamari and crispy flowering kale; Annatto Chicken with blue Hopi masa and Borlotti beans; and many more.

The dishes pictured above are the Chicories, Fried Green Tomato, and Bison Ribeye.
