Vegan Beer Pairing Dinner at Proper Brewing

I’ve gotta hand it to the folks at Avenues Proper – kudos for giving vegans their due. On Wednesday, October 25, 2023 started at 6 p.m., Avenues Proper will host a special vegan version of their regular Cellar Dinner series.

The menu and beer pairings are as follows:

First Course: Beet Granita – local beets with shaved cucumber and green onion, paired with 2017 Proper Géol 

Second Course: Trumpet Mushrooms – Intermountain Gourmet mushrooms with miso glaze and roasted corn puree, paired with Shades Hogshead Reserve No. 4 Belgian Quad

Third Course: Grill Sunchoke – with barbecue baked beans, paired with Uinta Cockeye Cooper Barrel Aged Barleywine

Fourth Couse: “Cheesecake” – cashew milk, herbed shortbread with lavender sugar, paired with Saltfire Serafina – a spontaneous fermentation ale with Syrah grapes. 

The cost per person for the Vegan Cellar Dinner at Avenues Proper is $45 for food and $25 for beer. Call the restaurant to reserve your spot.
