Chianti Wine Dinner @ Stanza

On Wednesday, September 13th, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. Stanza Italian Bistro & Wine Bar will host a special Chianti Wine Dinner with a menu created by Executive Chef Paul Cafaro and wine pairings by Javier Zunga.

The five course prix-fixe menu looks like this: 

The first course will feature Antipasto & Bruschetta: Italian speck prosciutto, hazelnut smoked blue cheese tart, chestnut honey, goat cheese, fig, bacon pecan crumble, rosemary & red onion focaccia bruschetta, paired with Nozzole Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, 2019. The second course will be Peperone Rosso Arrostito Pici All’Aglione: Calabrian crostacei fra diavolo sauce, Pacific clams, mussels, red crab claw, fresh basil & black garlic il pangrattato, paired with Castello di Bossi, Chianti Classico DOCG, 2019.

The third course is an intermezzo of Gala Apple & Lychee Sorbet with wildflower honey and candied lemon. 

The main course is Braciola di Vitello: rosemary compound butter, fingerling potatoes in duck fat, heirloom carrots with orange & ginger, wood ear mushrooms in Marsala, leek tempura, paired with Castello di Querceto Chianto Classico Reserva DOCG, 2019. 

Dessert is Affogato & Biscotti: turtle biscotti, espresso, rocky road gelato, paired with Disaronno Amaretto Liqueur. 

The cost for Stanza’s Chianti Wine Dinner is $120 per person ($95/food & $25/wine pairings), plus tax & gratuity.
