Butter Cow at Utah State Fair

You still have a few days left to attend the Utah State Fair, which continues through this weekend. While you’re there, be sure to stop by and see the incredible Butter Cow.

According to the fair organizers, “Since 1989, this sculpture has not only brought smiles to fairgoers but educated them about the importance of Utah agriculture, specifically, the dairy industry.”

“It takes artists Debbie Brown and Matt McNaughtan 600-800 pounds of butter and about 80 hours to create these works of art. Incredible, awe-inspiring, and often hilarious, the annual sculpture can only be seen during the 11 days of the Fair! Don’t miss it!” Located in the Promontory Building with Creative Arts.
