On Saturday, August 26, 2023 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Salt Lake City Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar invites guests 21 and over to experience a five-course pairing menu featuring seasonally inspired dishes and four curated pours from California’s most prominent female winemakers.

The “Women Behind the Wine Pouring Success” wine dinner kicks off with a first course of chilled fresh corn & heirloom tomato gazpacho paired with Cakebread Sauvignon Blanc (winemaker Niki Williams), followed by a second course of pickled nectarine, blueberry & burrata salad with Migration Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast (winemaker Dana Epperson).

Course #3 will feature roasted barbecue shrimp and zucchini dill fritter paired with Emmolo Merlot Napa Valley (winemaker Jenny Wagner), and the fourth course will be filet mignon with crispy maitake mushroom and Honig Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley (winemaker Ashley Egelhoff). Dessert will be an apple brie tart served with coffee or tea.

The cost for the Women Behind the Wine dinner at Fleming’s is $65 per guest for food and $16 to $20 per pairing for the four optional wine pairings.
