Locals Night at Ghidotti’s, Tacofest 2023, Summer Music Series at Laurel

One of Park City’s finest restaurants just got even more enticing. Every Thursday in August and September, Ghidotti’s restaurant hosts $10 Locals Night.

On Locals Night at Ghidotti’s appetizers such as calamari fritti and heirloom tomato bruschetta are $10 each, as well as salads like Ghidotti’s house salad and their traditional Caesar. $10 pasta dishes include chicken parmesan, spaghetti & meatballs, cacio e pepe, and pesto & penne. In addition, there are $12 specials such as Margherita pizza, arancini, and calabrese pizza. 

$10 per glass wine specials include Prosecco, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Chianti, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Complete wine and beverage menus will be available as well.  

Tacofest 2023

Utah Tacofest 2023 takes place this Saturday, August 5th, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Utah State Fairpark. The organizers invite you to “Gather your loved ones and immerse yourself in an unforgettable family event filled with live music, refreshing beer, tantalizing tequila, and, of course, an abundance of mouthwatering tacos!”

“Get ready to cheer on your favorite taco vendors as they showcase their culinary prowess and delight your taste buds with a tantalizing array of flavors from around the world. It’s a gastronomic journey that will take you on a global taco adventure, right here in Utah!”

In addition, guests will be treated to live music by a dizzying array of artists including Lalo Lucas, Mariachi Dinastia, Spirit Machines, Infusion Rock, and the Wonder Hits, just to name a few. 

Since 2017, Tacofest has raised over $21,000 for Meals On Wheels, Boy & Girls Club, and other charities. Entry for adults is $7 and kids 12 and under are free. Online tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite. 

Summer Music Series @ Laurel

Laurel Brasserie & Bar in the Grand America Hotel has launched its Thursday Night Music Series with live music on the outdoor terrace every Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Pair fresh food with fresh air with a line-up of jazzy live performances by artists such as Beacon Street Jazz, Hot House West, and Sunpuppy Jazz.
