New Places to Visit for Lunch, Brunch, and Spanish Dinner in Salt Lake

AQUA TERRA is now serving lunch, the Hyatt Regency’s Mar | Muntanya is featuring a Spanish dinner series, and Franck’s now has a summer Sunday brunch.

AQUA TERRA Launches Lunch

Lunch has arrived at AQUA TERRA Steak + Sushi at City Creek Center. AQUA TERRA now serves lunch Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to a wealth of inspired midday meal options, the restaurant is also offering the entire sushi bar menu from crispy rice and contemporary rolls to expertly sliced nigiri during lunch hours. AQUA TERRA also intends to open its Main Street patios, welcoming guests to enjoy steak and sushi downtown in the summer sun.

Lunch menu highlights include:

  • Seared Ahi Salad: blackened and seared ahi on a bed of mix greens, mint, pickled vegetables, tossed with a sesame ginger dressing and charred green onion vinaigrette
  • SLC Steak Frites: a classic reimagined as bison tips in chimichurri sauce, pickled vegetables, and fries
  • AQUA TERRA Bento: a four-part bento box featuring edamame, pickled vegetables, and the guest’s choice of half sushi roll and half sandwich
  • Fish & Chips featuring beer-battered steelhead and house fries
  • Rocky Mountain Melt featuring a bison patty, caramelized onions, roasted mushrooms and cheeses on marbled rye bread
  • Steelhead BLTA served on focaccia bread and with fries

“I couldn’t be more excited to launch the most approachable, most delicious lunch option to downtown Salt Lake,” said Elaina Morris, CEO and President of Ascend Hospitality Group, AQUA TERRA’s management group. “We’ve heard the many requests from our guests to open for lunch and, with a variety of options and prices that make it easy to visit multiple times a week, I am happy to say we are answering that request! We are doing so with creative dishes that speak to our philosophy of affordable luxury and celebrate our roots: PNW and the Rockies, land and water, steak and sushi.”

Mar|Muntanya Spanish Dinner Series

Mar | Muntanya in the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake is offering a Spanish Summer Supper series beginning July 23rd helmed by Executive Chef Tyson Peterson. Featuring locally sourced Farmer’s Market produce, the first installment of this Summer’s menu is set to showcase a Roast Beast Feast, replete with an Iberico Suckling Pig Roast and a colossal Paella.

Here’s what the folks at Mar | Muntanya have to say about the series. “Available Sunday July 23rd from 6pm-9pm, Mar | Muntanya’s first Summer Supper is inspired by the coastal and mountainous regions of Catalonia and the Basque Country of Northern Spain. The communal dinner will consist of a multi-course menu meant to be shared with friends and family, either inside Mar|Muntanya’s comfortable space with views of the cityscape, or on the sixth-floor outdoor terrace in a cozy outdoor dining globe.

Supper begins at $65/person, with the outdoor dining globes bookable for up to 8 people for $650,  inclusive of a personal server for each globe and beverage pairing with each course. The dinners can be booked on Eventbrite.

Franck’s Now Offering Brunch
