Alta Music, Brews & BBQ Fest
On Saturday, July 2, 2022 Alta’s Snowpine Lodge will host a festive day of Music, Brews & BBQ from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the Lodge’s Great Lawn. Along with tasty barbecue and cold brews, local artists will play at the top of every hour until 9 p.m. Musical acts include our favorite – The Two Old Guys (Tally Evans and Michael Feldman) – playing at 4:00 p.m., along with Will Rogers, Mikael Lewis, Brian Brimhall, Alyse Morgan, Steven Bosco, The Proper Way, Rob Speiser, Madame Macintosh, and the Mountain Country Band.
The cost for concert tickets: $20 (not including BBQ), or you may come up to the lodge and pay $10 with 4 cans of food for donation (this event is family-friendly). The cost for the BBQ Buffet: $55 a person or $27.50 for kids 12 and under (BBQ will be served from 11am – 2pm and 4pm – 7pm).
Pie & Beer Day Returns
The official Pie and Beer Day – the world’s largest assemblage of pie and beer – returns on Sunday, July 24th.
Pie and Beer Day 2022 is a benefit event to help out KUAA FM radio and will be held at The Gateway, sponsored in part by Downtown SLC and The Blocks. In addition to all sorts of pies and a blizzard of brews, Pie and Beer Day also features locally made music played live on the music stage.
New Menu Items, Patio Opens, & More @ Tupelo
Good news for fans of Tupelo Park City! The patio is now open for al fresco dining, brunch has returned, and Chef Matt Harris has added a number of new dishes to the Tupelo menu.
New menu items include Crispy Fried Skate Wing with Red Pepper Hot Sauce, Bread & Butter Pickles; Pan Roasted Nantucket Striped Bass with Yellow Peppers, Summer Squash, Mushrooms; Corn Cacio e Pepe, Tagliatelle Pasta, Heirloom Tomatoes, Squash Smoked Parmesan; Ricotta Fritters with Charred Summer Corn, Zucchini, Sweet Pepper Pickles, Lemon Dill Ricotta; Roasted Idaho Steelhead Trout with Summer Bean Ragout, Charred Lemon Confit, and a bevy of other delectable new temptations.
Patio brunch has also returned to Tupelo on weekends from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
