Founded in 2017, Sweet Rolled Tacos are ice cream tacos made with premium cream, handcrafted on a cold plate that is rolled into ice cream and fitted into a waffle taco cone. Customers can pick between red, purple, blue, black, and original waffle colors (all taste the same!) and can enjoy them with spoons or as a taco. In addition, Sweet Rolled Tacos offers milkshakes, over 23 flavorful drink options, and more.

Emigration Cafe Opens

Scott Evans – president and founder of the Pago Restaurant Group – and his team have opened a new restaurant. Emigration Cafe is located in the former Sea Salt and more recently, One-O-Eight restaurant space at 1709 E. 1300 South in Salt Lake City.

Here’s what Scott and the folks at Emigration Cafe had to say about their newest venture. “Inspired by coastal ‘all day’ cafes, the Pago Restaurant Group team envisioned a neighborhood spot casual enough for a morning espresso and house made pastry in the morning and just fancy enough to join us for a special dinner. The generous patio continues to be a neighborhood draw. From Roman style flatbreads cooked in our wood fired oven to a variety of local green salads, we offer fresh seasonal menus for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Of course, as part of Pago Restaurant Group, you can expect a curated wine list focussing on natural wines, an expansive craft beer menu and artisan spirits.”

Emigration Cafe is currently open for lunch and dinner during their soft opening and will operate on a full schedule, including breakfast, in coming weeks. They are now open Wednesday-Saturday for lunch and dinner, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
