Martini & Rossi Sparkling Rosé: Crisp, Dry and a Very Good Value

I recently sampled Martini & Rossi Sparkling Rosé and was surprised to find that it is crisp and drier than ever – a very good value.

If you are of a certain age, you may think of Martini & Rossi wines as teeth achingly sweet – wine your grandparents might have enjoyed. But have you tasted wines from Martini & Rossi lately? You might be surprised.

Martini & Rossi is the #1 Italian sparkling wine brand in the world, not just in part because they are so affordable ($14.99 SRP). I recently sampled Martini & Rossi Sparkling Rosé and was surprised to find that it is crisp and drier than ever – a very good value.

The wine is made from premium Moscato Bianco, Brachetto and Malvasia grapes grown in Northern Italy. It is abundant with red fruit flavors and subtle spice, well-balanced and light on the palate. That means it would be a good choice to serve as an aperitif, but also would taste great during a meal or at a picnic. The current formulation of Martini & Rossi Sparkling Rosé would make it an excellent partner for grilled seafood, but would also be very refreshing at your next barbecue.
