SkinnyFATS Now Open for Lunch

Located inside HallPass at The Gateway, SkinnyFATS eatery is now open for lunch, joining Blaze of Thunder, Graffiti Bao and Beer Zombie as good spots to nosh from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., daily. 

If you haven’t been to SkinnyFATS, well, they have something for everybody. The menu is divided into “Healthy” and “Happy” categories. Healthy options include cauliflower with Buffalo sauce; mango-basil chicken, slow-roasted sweet potato; agave BBQ chicken and others. On the Happy side are burgers, cheesesteaks, fried pickles, slow-braised short rib, teriyaki filet mignon, and more. SkinnyFATS also offers cold press juices and natural pure cane sugar Boylan sodas.

Live Music Wednesdays @ Afterword

Afterword by Tupelo Park City restaurant is already Heber’s most appealing dining destination. But here’s a bonus: On Wednesdays in June Afterword will feature free live music from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on their patio. 

Enjoy dishes like Chef Harris’ amazing fried chicken, fire-roasted lamb T-bone bites, fresh tagliatelle with mushroom Bolognese, Niman Ranch sirloin with barley risotto, English pea & feta spring salad, and other delicious dishes while enjoying live music provided by local artists like Alicia Stockman, Rylee McDonald, Casey Morgan, Dillion Finn and Nate Robinson.. Reminder: the live music is FREE. Patio seating is first come, first serve at Afterword, so you’ll want to get there early.  

Summer Dining @ Snowbasin

Snowbasin Resort announced its Summer 2021 schedule this week, including mountain top dining and the return of Blue, Brews & BBQ and Oktoberfest.

Guests can enjoy a scenic 12-minute gondola ride to Needles Lodge where lunch will be served on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and brunch on Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Every Sunday, guests can reserve a table at the top of the mountain to dine on an all-you-can-eat brunch with a variety of stations including a carving station, crepe station, omelet station, salad station, hot items, assorted desserts and more. Reservations are recommended for Mountain Top Brunch.

Snowbasin will host two bands every Sunday between August 1 and September 5 for their free Blues, Brews and BBQ concerts in the base area on the lawn next to Earl’s Lodge. In addition, SnowWiesn – Snowbasin’s version of Oktoberfest – will take place each Sunday from September 12 through October 3 and offers delicious Bavarian themed food, live music, and locally crafted beers in a great escape into the mountains for families and friends.
