Park City Ski Shot: Home Edition
Kudos to the Park City Rotary Club, which managed to pull off a virtual fundraiser for the 5th Annual Park City Ski Shot event (Home Edition), which was held on Saturday, Oct 24th from the comfort of participants’ own homes. The Ski Shot – normally held on Park City’s Main Street – raised more than $20,000 to benefit the Rotary’s grant programs for 20 community groups.
“We are blown away by the community’s participation and enthusiasm for this year’s virtual event,” said Park City Sunrise Rotary Club member Connie Nelson. “Thanks to Park City’s enduring generosity, we are grateful to be able to use the funds raised to continue supporting our grant programs for our resilient local organizations.”
According to the Ski Shot organizers, “317 event “attendees” documented their experience on social media using their exclusive at-home shot ski packages, featuring custom shot glasses and High West Lemonade fixins. The winning post was awarded to neighborsofparkcity who will receive a coveted High West prize basket.”
“Home Edition general admission and VIP kits are still available and make an incredible Christmas gift,” say the Ski Shot folks. Specific details are forthcoming, but please visit parkcityshotski.com for more information. A communal shot ski event is tentatively scheduled for fall 2021.
