Utah Brews

As is the case with restaurants and bars, Utah’s brewing industry is under severe stress thanks to COVID-19 shutdowns and restrictions. Brewpubs are trying to survive with curbside takeout service just as many breweries are selling beer-to-go. (Thankfully, that hasn’t been terminated … yet.) We can all help by drinking locally-brewed beer and buying gift cards and swag from local breweries. And when your favorite brewmaster – who has now become a delivery driver – comes to your place, remember to tip generously.

Here’s some good Utah brews news that you might not be aware of.

SaltFire Brewing Co. just released a 7.3% ABV New England-style IPA called Summer Camp Crush.

Bohemian Brewery is open again (sort of). After initially suspending operations, Bohemian has reopened with drive-thru service serving food and canned beer to-go. Look for its seasonal Kölsch, recently released.

Avenues Proper offers curbside food and packaged beer to-go. Customers wishing to purchase beer must go inside to do so, one person at a time.

Wasatch Brewery in Sugarhouse offers food for curbside pickup and beer to go, daily.

Epic Brewing is open selling beer to takeout and recently released another new Pink Boots Society beer: 8% ABV Imperial Pink Ale.

Level Crossing Brewery has released “an other worldly Hazy Double IPA (8.8% ABV) called Space Oddity.

Curbside food  orders at Red Rock Brewing are 50% off with code RED50 and beer to go is available at the Red Rock Beer Store.

At Uinta Brewing the General Store is open to purchase beer and merch to go.

The Bayou is open for curbside to go food orders and is also allowed to sell beer 5% ABV or lower.

By the time you read this, RoHa Brewing Project will have released Transom Dark Pale Ale in cans (5% ABV).

Roosters Brewing Co. now offers online ordering for food (curbside pickup) and just released a new brew – a Session Hazy IPA called High Desert Hazy. All Roosters locations offer beer to go and the B Street Taproom has high point beers cold and ready to take home to enjoy.

At Salt Flats Brewing you can not only purchase beer to go, but also buy hand sanitizer.

The T.F. Brewing TapRoom is currently closed but you can go to the BEER STORE to buy beer in cans and crowlers.

Black Currant Sour and other beers are available to go at Toasted Barrel Brewery

Cheers, everyone!
