Spoons ‘n’ Spice provides stuff for the kitchen that’s nice. For the first time in 40 years the venerable culinary arts store will be returning to Sugar House. The 10,000 square foot store will have a grand opening party in October when it moves to Sugar House Center at 2274 South 1300 East.

Want an Ebelskiver pan, or even know what one is? The folks at Spoons ‘n’ Spice do. They have made a successful business from stocking thousands of kitchen items you can’t get anywhere else.

Joe and Lois Granato opened the original store in one side of a duplex in Sugar House 40 years ago. It grew to two full-size stores — in Sandy and Ivy Place. The Ivy store closed in August and now they’re back in Sugar House.

The new store was designed by sons Nick and Tony Granato. They welcome everyone to their big grand opening party in October. Then you can buy your ebelskiver pan.§
