If you’re a lover of KRCL radio like I am, you can support the community radio station most deliciously at the Punk Rock Farmer’s Harvest Dinner.
KRCL invites you to join Aldine – KRCL’s Punk Rock Farmer – on Wednesday October 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Wasatch Community Garden Cottage. Al and Chef Tony of Solstice Spices have crafted a menu from their homes and gardens to share with you. Growers, ranchers, and vendors contributing to the tasty event include Aldine, Beltex Meats, Solstice Spices & Cress Farm Cooperative, Park City Creamery, Christiansen Family Farm, Utah Meat Collective, Water Canyon Winery, Etta Place Cider, Fine Tilth Farm, Pierpont Place, and Wasatch Community Gardens.

Sunday Savings at Urban Hill
Urban Hill – decidedly not an inexpensive restaurant – is offering some special savings for customers on Sundays this month.
Included in the special deals are $2 oysters (half dozen minimum), 20% off bottles of wine, and a family-style Sunday Supper Special. The supper serves 3-4 guests, is priced at $175, and includes classic Creekstone Farms Châteaubriand served with whipped potatoes, macaroni & cheese, rolls and asparagus.
Old Jews Telling Jokes at Feldman’s
If you’re looking for a really fun time accompanied by outstanding food and drink, look no further than the return of “Old Jews Telling Jokes” at Feldman’s Deli on Saturday, October 7th from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
This is a community Open Mic Joke telling dinner event priced at $50 per person, not including drinks or alcohol. Feldman’s Deli will offer a fixed menu (they won’t be selling any or their normal menu items) which includes a salad, starter, your choice of one of three dinner specials, and dessert. Guests can bring wine; a $6 corkage fee will be applied.
