Taste of Luxury Series Returns to Deer Valley
The culinary team at Deer Valley Resort invites guests to “Indulge in the ultimate BBQ experience this July as Chef Ryan Arensdorf returns to Deer Valley for the second annual Taste of Luxury Smoked Series. Chef Arensdorf will showcase the distinct flavors of Kansas City style BBQ during this two-day event, complemented by scenic chairlift rides to and from dinner, and the option to extend your evening with the Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit concert at the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to elevate their own BBQ skills with a personal cooking class and lunch alongside Chef Arensdorf himself.”

Collaboration Dinner at Tuscany
The folks at Tuscany and Franck’s restaurants invite guests to join them for “an unforgettable evening of culinary artistry, showcasing the talents of three culinary maestros” as Chef Franck Piessel, former head chef at Franck’s, returns to join Chef Vickers and Chef Perkins from Franck’s and Tuscany for a pair of special “collaboration” dinners, June 7th and June 8th at 6:00 pm.
The six course dinner kicks off with a Chilled Minterbrook Oyster, followed by a second course of Seared Maine Scallop. The third course is Cheese Ravioli with pistachio mint pesto, followed by Kombu Basted Sablefish Boudin. Course #5 is Wagyu Beef Cheek & Cherries and the dessert course is “Sphere of Peach.”
The cost for the Tuscany/Franck’s Collaboration Dinner is $140 per person.
Park Silly Market Returns
The Park Silly Sunday Market returns on Sunday, June 2nd to kick off its 18th season. “The Park Silly Sunday Market is a non-profit 501(c)3 ~ not for profit, just for fun! Park Silly has hosted over 2.8 million people over the course of 18 years and has helped to foster/incubate over 175 small businesses. Park Silly is a FREE eco-friendly open air artist market, street festival and community forum.” Guests can enjoy a wide array of food and drink at the Park Silly Sunday Market, as well.
