Tipsy Flamingo Bar at Flanker, Taste of Luxury Series at Deer Valley, Snowbasin Sunset Social

A new 80s style pop-up bar is now open at Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club. Deer Valley Resort is planning a visit from Chef Silvia Regi Baracchi. Snowbasin extended their season for two more weeks and will continue to offer their Sunset Social.

Tipsy Flamingo Bar at Flanker

Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club has launched a new 80s-style pop-up bar called Tipsy Flamingo. The folks at Flanker had this to say: “Welcome to Tipsy Flamingo, an 80s cocktail pop-up bar. Neon lights, disco elements, and lush greenery transport you to a bygone era of retro glamour. Sip on our specialty cocktails and pair them with our chef-curated bites, capturing the vibrant spirit of 80s tropical life. The Tipsy Flamingo is a haven for Instagram-worthy moments with elaborate decor and lighting. Enjoy our live DJ, spinning smooth vinyl every Wednesday, adding to the nostalgic vibe. Whether you’re here for an intimate evening or a lively gathering, the Tipsy Flamingo promises an unforgettable experience where every sip, bite, and melody whisks you away to a world of tropical delight.”

Taste of Luxury Series at Deer Valley

The Taste of Luxury Series continues at Deer Valley Resort next month with a visit from world renowned Chef Silvia Regi Baracchi. According to our friends at the Resort, “Deer Valley’s Taste of Luxury Series focuses on unbelievable food and wine in an unforgettable setting! Events range from exclusive cooking classes with Michelin Star Chefs from around the world, multi-course dinners featuring globally renowned culinary figures, and receptions highlighting industry-leading winemakers.”

“Born in Perugia and raised in the heart of Cortona, Silvia Regi Baracchi proudly declares herself ‘Etruscan.’ From a family of restaurateurs, she has inherited a passion for good food, a sensitivity to the traditions and the art of hospitality, all-the-while with the positive energy of Il Falconiere inspiring her culinary style day by day. Silvia boasts many culinary experiences with Chefs from around the world that have allowed her to share the cuisine of Cortona with the world and many years she has worked with the Executive Chef Richard Titi, with whom she shares a profound harmony and a constant evolution. Consistency is the concept that embraces her kitchen. The results are exceptional ingredients coupled with cooking methods that enhance the flavors of Tuscany and the balance between quality and presentation of the dish: an awareness and understanding that will intrigue the more experienced diner and satisfy lovers of simplicity.”

Chef Regi Baracchi will be at Deer Valley Resort from April 5 to 7 for the Taste of Luxury events. The Food & Beverage team at the Resort invites you to “Immerse yourself in an intimate gathering with Chef Silvia Baracchi during the VIP Meet and Greet Reception, enjoying passed appetizers and a welcome glass of champagne amidst conviviality. Enjoy exclusive access to mingle with Chef Baracchi before embarking on a culinary journey with her six-course dinner, paired with exceptional wines.”

“Hosted by Deer Valley’s Vice President of Food and Beverage, Jacob Musyt, the evening begins with a warm introduction, followed by Chef Baracchi’s remarks. Let each course be a testament to the fusion of Utah’s finest ingredients and Chef Baracchi’s Italian culinary expertise, while esteemed winemakers provide insights into the paired wines, enriching your dining experience. Snowbasin Sunset Social

Snowbasin Resort has just extended its winter season for two additional weeks, now staying open until April 28. That gives you more time to enjoy Snowbasin’s Sunset Social. The folks at Snowbasin invite you to “Join us for the ultimate mountain-top après-ski evening at Needles Lodge. Complete with live music, a full bar, delicious pub-fare food and sunset views from the top of Snowbasin, there isn’t a better way to kickstart your weekend!” This event is for all ages and will run from 4:30 to 8:00 pm with the option to either board Needles Gondola beginning at 4:30 pm (without gear) or remain at Needles Lodge at the end of the ski day and check your gear with an attendant to send down the gondola and store until you are ready to head out.”

Tempting pub fare at Needles Lodge ranges from Huli Huli Chicken and the Three Taco Platter, to Calabrese Pizza, Mexicali Caesar Salad, and New England Clam Chowder. There’s also a full selection of beer, wine, cider, liquor, and more to help you indulge in your apres ski social.
