Log Haven Garners “Most Romantic” Awards
Just ahead of Valentine’s Day, OpenTable announced its annual list of the 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America for 2024. According to OpenTable, they “analyzed over 12 million diner reviews and metrics to find the restaurants that had diners swooning—these are the Top 100 Romantic Restaurants in the US.”
Joining prestigious American restaurants such as Bistro L’Hermitage in Virginia, River Cafe in NYC, The Olde Pink House Restaurant in Savannah, Bouchon in Santa Barbara, and Bern’s Steak House in Tampa is Utah’s own Log Haven the only Utah restaurant selected as Most Romantic by OpenTable.
In addition, delish.com selected Log Haven as Utah’s sole pick in their list of “Most Romantic Restaurants Around the Country.”
Congratulations to our friends at Log Haven for these well-deserved accolades.

Valentine’s Day at Spice on 9th
The good folks at Spice Kitchen Incubator and Spice on 9th Market/Hub/Cafe invite you to “Join Prime Corn and Delicius for a romantic evening on Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 6-8 pm. Chef Wendy Juarez of Prime Corn and Ahimara Suarez of Delicius have partnered to create a delicious Latin-themed three-course prix-fixe dinner.”
The menu looks enticing and includes two starters: Tlaxtihuilli (a pre-Hispanic soup with shrimp and corn masa) and Crema de Espinacas. The second course is a favorite of mine: Chile en Nogada (poblano chile stuffed with ground meat and fruits, topped with walnut-based cream nogada) and Asado Negro (beef cooked with brown sugar, raisins and olives, served with mashed potatoes and salad). For dessert there’s Passion Fruit Mousse and Natilla (a custard made with coconut milk, cinnamon and lemon).
The prices for the Spice on 9th Valentine’s Day dinner is $130 per couple or $220 per “double date” (group of 4). Call 801-608-1924 to reserve your spot.
