Utah Women and Wine January Tasting

The community organization, Utah Women and Wine, is hosting a January Sips with Utah Women and Wine on January 26th.

Utah Women and Wine is a community organization aimed at “like-minded women who share a love of wine.” Their January Sips with Utah Women and Wine takes place on Friday, January 26th.

Utah Women and Wine said, “Cheers to 2024! Calling all fabulous women to join us for an evening of camaraderie and friendship. This in-person event is happening on Friday, Jan 26, 2024 beginning at 5:00 pm and going until 8:00 pm at Scion Cider Bar located at 916 Jefferson Street West, Salt Lake City.”

“Meet and connect with like-minded women who share your love for wine. Enjoy a variety of cider selections and delicious snacks while socializing with other wine-loving women in the community. We can’t wait to see you there!”

Tickets for the 21+ event are $15 to reserve your spot and include light snacks and shared plates. Additional food, ciders, select wines, craft beers, and cider-driven cocktails will be available for purchase. Tickets may be purchased online at Eventbrite.com.

Ted Scheffler

Originally trained as an anthropologist, Ted Scheffler is a seasoned food, wine, and travel writer based in Utah. He loves cooking, skiing, music, and reading, and spends an inordinate amount of time tending to his ever-growing herd of guitars and amplifiers. Ted is also the author of the Utah Bites newsletter, which is published in partnership with Utah Stories. Before moving to Utah, Ted lived in New York City, and numerous states in the US, as well as in various countries overseas, Spain, Japan, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico. He earned a Master’s Degree in Anthropology from the Graduate Faculty of The New School for Social Research.
