Did you know that in addition to gardening, horticulture, health & wellness, Red Butte Garden offers cooking classes? Yes, they do.
Upcoming include Cooking with Plants for a Healthier U on Tuesday, August 29th: Join Dr Amy Locke, Lifestyle Medicine Family Physician, in taking summer favorites to a whole new level with salsas and sauces of the season! This Hands-on cooking class will explore the flavors of the season that are not only delicious but good for you. These are sure to be recipes that will inspire your menus for seasons to come.
In addition, Indian Cuisine Cooking classes will be held on September 13, October 18, and November 15: Join instructor Purnima Gandhi as she prepares popular and delicious cuisine from various regions of India. You will be introduced to traditional Indian spices including cumin, cardamom, turmeric, coriander, and other ingredients and techniques used to prepare traditional Indian dishes. Taco Tuesdays @ Windy Ridge
Taco Tuesdays has returned to Park City’s Windy Ridge Cafe, where every Tuesday through September specials include $3 tacos, $3.50 chips & guacamole, $7 Margaritas and more.
Family-style taco varieties include grilled veggie, shredded chicken, shredded beef, crispy fish, and chicken or beef taquitos. In addition, the menu features entrees like chile verde bowl, chicken enchilada, smothered chile verde burrito, and chicken burrito.
Fisher Mansion Beer Garden
For two days – Saturday, September 9th and Sunday, September 10th, Salt Lake City Public Lands and Fisher Brewery will host the Fisher Mansion Beer Garden Event from noon to 8 p.m. – a celebration of local beer, delicious food, and community spirits.
The organizers invite you to “Sip on a refreshing selection of local craft beers from Fisher Brewery, known for their exceptional brews that capture the essence of Salt Lake City’s vibrant beer scene.
