Deer Valley Resort has announced the return of their Deer Valley Mountain Beer Festival, the inaugural event of which kicked off last fall. Deer Valley Resort invites beer enthusiasts to enjoy the fall foliage while sampling brews from over a dozen Utah breweries at the second annual Deer Valley Mountain Beer Festival on Saturday and Sunday, September 16 and 17, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The one-of-a-kind beer festival takes place mid-mountain at 8,100 feet and is accessed by a scenic chairlift ride. The festival also includes options for outdoor dining, live music presented by Mountain Town Music, plus a full slate of additional family-friendly activities by local vendors.

“We are thrilled for the return of the Deer Valley Mountain Beer Festival to properly toast our talented, award-winning Utah breweries,” said Deer Valley Director of Beverage Josh Hockman. “Guests can imbibe while indulging in elevated summer BBQ dishes, lawn games, and activities geared to the whole family at Park City’s newest favorite summer tradition.”

According to the folks at Deer Valley Resort, “Attendees to Deer Valley’s Mountain Beer Festival will enjoy the opportunity to sample a wide range of beer flavors and styles, including many full-strength selections. The festival was created to celebrate Utah’s brewing culture and is exclusive to breweries from Utah. Expect to see local producers, such as Offset Bier and Park City Brewing, as well as nationally recognized brewers from the Beehive State, including Squatters and Uinta, who kick-started Utah’s craft brew scene several decades ago.”

At present, participating breweries include UTOG Brewing, Talisman Brewing, Moab Brewery, TF Brewing, Squatter’s, Wasatch Brewery, Offset Bier, Roosters Brewing Co., Mountain West Cider and RoHa Brewing Project.

All event packages include scenic chairlift access to and from the event via Silver Lake Express and will be on sale to the general public starting Thursday, June 15, 2023 at deervalley.com/things-to-do/activities/mountain-beer-festival.
