CANCER WELLNESS HOUSE

Cancer is now classified as a complex chronic disease and will soon be the leading cause of death in Utah. Working for the cancer community, Dr. Librett is the cancer survivor specialist at the Cancer Wellness House. While in medical school, Dr. Librett was diagnosed with cancer. This diagnosis inspired twenty-five years of researching and integrating modern and ancient medicine.

Dr. Librett believes anyone can reconnect with peace and happiness. This perspective comes from his medical education and spiritual education. He studied at a monastery student of Soto Zen; was a faculty member at BYU; and currently studies with the Anglican Church.

A doctor once said to Dr. Librett, “John, you can’t worry about people’s health more than they worry about their own health.” While this might be true, he takes as much time as needed to develop and deliver our member’s health needs. Deeply caring is also good medicine.
