Utah Art Market, Ogden Nature Center, Veteran’s Day Program, and Theater Listings for November

The Utah theater scene is in full swing. There is something for everyone in November.

November Activities

November 11: Veteran’s Day Program presented by Riverton City Recreation at the Sandra Lloyd Performing Arts Center at 12830 S Redwood Road. The program, honoring those who have served and those currently serving our country, will begin at 6:30pm and admission is free.

November 11-12: National Park Service Fee Free Days. The Southeast Utah Group of the National Park Service (Arches and Canyonlands national parks and Hovenweep and Natural Bridges national monuments) is joining national parks across the country in waiving entrance fees as a way to encourage people to get outdoors and spend time with their friends and families.

November 18: Holiday Workshop: Handmade paper card-making at the Ogden Nature Center, 966 W 12th Street, Ogden. Held from 10am to 12pm, the workshop will teach how to create handmade paper for holiday cards. For cost and registration visit their website.

November 30-December 2: Utah Art Market at the Sugar House Garden Center, 1602 E 2100 S. This marketplace is for local artists with a passion to share their talents with the community. Hand-made arts and crafts include jewelry, candles, original paintings, fine art prints, stationery, frames, pillows, holiday decor, clothing, stained glass, ornamental iron, pottery, baked goods, and more.
