Keeping Memories Alive & The Big “O” OTTO Show

Keeping Memories Alive & The Big “O” OTTO Show is an exciting event honoring those loved ones whom we have lost but are not forgotten.

Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Valley Fair Mall

I believe that every life has a story and that everyone’s story deserves to be told and preserved for future generations.

Keeping Memories Alive & the Big “O” OTTO Show is in loving memory of my parents, “OTTO & LINDA THERKELSEN” & in honorary memory of “MIKE MARVIDAKIS.”

All proceeds benefit the Biker’s Against Child Abuse (B.A.C.A.).

KEEPING MEMORIES ALIVE is the Show of all Shows and the one you OT-TO not miss. Come join us as we stand together and honor the memories of our loved ones with lasting personal tributes in a supportive community where kids, friends and families are welcome.

KEEPING MEMORIES ALIVE welcomes all Vehicles, Customs, Classics, Luxuries, Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, HotRods, Boats, ATVS, Off-Roads, Snowmobiles, All Classes of Racing, Imports, etc.

My Dad, OTTO, had a NEED FOR SPEED and a passion for Power & Performance in anything that moved. Therefore, all Motor/Power Sports are welcome to join in on the fun.

KEEPING MEMORIES ALIVE is my way of honoring my parents; however, I am inviting & encouraging anyone who attends to bring a memorial in honor of a loved one (including any memorials for pets) to share and display. This show is for everyone as we all have experienced a loss of some significance in our lives.

KEEPING MEMORIES ALIVE will include the singing of the National Anthem, a flag ceremony & an ENGINE REV SALUTE Since my dad was a an avid drag racer, the car show trophies will be custom-made out of a variety of car, boat & motorcycle parts. The trophies will be dedicated to those who have been and/or continue to be a significant Icon in the Drag Racing Community.

There will be honorary judges who will vote for their favorites in certain classes; then they will award the trophy to the winner.

We will have a variety of vendors, raffle prizes, auction items, an onsite pet adoption, a photo booth, family & pet memory trees and the delicious cuisine provided by SMOKE A BILLY BBQ & my dear friend and owner, Jason Greer.

Rumor has it that a certain bear will be making an appearance to educate the kids on How We Can Prevent Forest Fires along with McGruff The Crime Dog. The West Valley City Police & Fire Departments will be onsite with activities for the kids. Fun for the entire family! Mark your calendars, save the date, and join us at our official sponsor’s location Valley Fair Mall in West Valley City.
