Hot air balloons flying over southern Utah
People enjoy a scenic flight over southeast Utah at the Bluff International Balloon Festival.

January 13th-15th: Bluff International Balloon Festival. The 19th Annual Bluff Balloon Festival is scheduled for January. Take a scenic flight over southeast Utah as we head into President’s Day weekend.

January 17th: Story time at the Farm – Wheeler Historic Farm. This event features free admission and runs from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at the farm, 6351 S 900 E. This is a preschool program for children and their caregivers.

January 21st: Locomotive Restoration Project – 223 Narrow Gauge at Union Station Trainmen’s Building, 2501 Wall Ave, Ogden. The Golden Spike Chapter of the Railway & Locomotive Historical Society has taken on the effort of restoring Denver & Rio Grande Western railroad steam locomotive #223 to an operational engine. Work sessions are held every Saturday at 9:30 am until early afternoon. Visit Ogden City for more information.

January 25th: Cooking class: Intro to Italian held at Tony Caputo’s Market and Deli, 15th and 15th. This class is an introduction to the art of Italian cooking. Registration is $45 with an additional $15 for alcohol pairing. Visit Caputo’s Market & Deli for more information and to register.
