Zaniac Hosts a Science and Technology for Kids at Utah’s Homeless Shelter

Bringing STEM education to Utah’s homeless shelter

|

Community Press Release:

As part of a community outreach extension, Zaniac is offering a “Science and Tech Night” for kids K-8 at The Road Home homeless szaniachelter on April 9th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Zaniac President Sidh Oberoi along with his board believe STEM should be for everyone, not just those who can pay for summer camps and afterschool sessions. The Road Home team feels the same. What if just one or two of the children at the shelter realize they have a love for science or tech? Just think how much better their lives might turnout.

The goal is to make this a regular event at Utah’s homeless shelter if turnout is positive.

The Road Home is located at 210 S. Rio Grande St.
