September 5 – September 7, 2014: Salt Lake Greek Festival. Featuring Greek dance, food, music and culture. At the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church – 279 South 300 West.

September 8 — Screening of “Eat Local Week” film at Brewvies 7:30 PM hosted by the Utah Film Center. A young couple sets out to eat the way their grandparents did—locally and seasonally.

September 10, 2014: Jazz at the Station. Free all-ages event in the Grand Lobby of Ogden’s Union Station. 2501 Wall Avenue, Ogden. From 7-8 pm.

September 13, 2014: Avenues Street Fair – 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on 4th Avenue between I and N Streets. 200 booths featuring local artists, food vendors and community organizations. Live entertainment. Free Admission.

September 13, 2014: Strut Your Mutt, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at Sugar House Park. Sponsored by Best Friends Animal Society to raise money for homeless dogs and cats.The annual fundraising event features a dog walk, fun run and activities for four-legged and two-legged participants.

September 19-23, 2014: Moab International Film Festival. Showcasing independent films of cultural and educational value. Visit moabfilmfestival.org for more information

September 24-28, 2014: 11th Annual M.O.A.B. (Mother Of All Boogies). Join 250 skydivers from all over the world and 200 first-time tandem jumpers in a five-day event over Moab. Two large turbine aircraft will take off every 15 minutes with 20+ jumpers, jumping from sunrise to sunset. Visit skydivemoab.com for more information.
