For 30 years now, Cassandra’s Closet has been Utah’s longest running “consignment-only” boutique. Located in the upper Millcreek township of Salt Lake, Cassandra’s Closet offers a variety of high-end clothing, shoes, hats, scarves, and jewelry at affordable prices, and is now accepting décor and furniture items as well offer online custom help and professional assistance. Started in 1984, current owner, Sandi Woolley, purchased the store from a friend who was about to retire and decided to continue the legacy herself.
This past October the shop recently relocated to a much roomier 3,600 square-foot location across the street from the original, with plenty of space for even more great finds. Each item is held to a high standard of quality and condition, and perusing the merchandise you’ll find such labels as St. John, Prada, Chanel, John Hardy, David Yurman, Sundance, and Tiffany & Co. “My Store is for people who want to sell items that they know have some worth left.” Sandi says. “They love these items and don’t want to just ‘garage sale’ their stuff. They want to see them go to a new home where someone appreciates the quality and the label.”
Sandi is conscientious about leftover items as well which are donated to the local Assistance League thrift shop, or Catholic Community Services. So, the next time you’re ready to part with a beloved item you know has some value left and deserves a second chance, or you just want a good price on an amazing designer label, be sure to stop by the new location for Cassandra’s Closet, at 2282 E 3300 South.
