Utahns Rally Capitol Hill for Equal Marriage Rights

Thousands of locals petition to keep same-sex marriage legal.

Yesterday, hundreds of members of Utah’s diverse human family joined together in the state Capitol rotunda in one voice to deliver 41,000 signatures to the governor’s office in a plea to stop the costly appeal to end marriage equality in Utah. Speakers ranged from members of  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to newlywed same sex couples to children of same sex partners. All showing their support in a moving display that one hopes will soon be common place in every state in the union.
